Calling Cards - Save $$$

Sydney Morning Herald reports Calling Cards save money - But what exactly are Calling Cards?

What is a calling card exactly?

A prepaid calling card or phone card is defined as a telecommunication credit card with an Identification Number for using long distant carriers without the high costs.

Why use a prepaid calling card?

Prepaid long distance calling cards let you call 100’s of countries at bargain prices. You can call from almost anywhere: pay phones, the office, cellphone, even from outside Australia. Sold in many different forms ranging from $10 to $100 , calling cards are very convenient. You don’t need a phone number, address or credit history to buy a prepaid long-distance card. You don’t have to deal with bills. If you don’t like a calling card, simply try buying a different brand.

How do I use a prepaid calling card?

Making the calls is easy. Just dial the digit access number, followed by a personal identification number (PIN), followed by the long-distance number you are trying to reach. Detailed dialing istructions will be emailed to you with the calling card PINs.

So it saves me money, has no bills and can be used anywhere. Where do I get them from??

Calling cards are sold in most retail outlets and service stations, but can often have catches and there are so many available it’s almost impossible to determine the best value card for your situation. The best way to purchase a prepaid calling card is to select the country you wish to use it in and the country you call the most below, this will then search all the best value cards available and give you a list! You can then simply purchase online and get a PIN number delivered to you instantly.

Sydney Bus’s to go prepaid only!

A NUMBER of bus stops will become pre-paid only in an attempt to reduce bus travel times.

The State Government announced three bus stops at Cremorne Junction and Neutral Bay Junction will be only accept prepaid Sydney bus passes during weekday morning peak hours. Transport Minister David Campbell said the stops would be cashless from Monday to Friday, 7am to 10am, starting on Monday, February 16.

“This is about providing commuters with a faster, cheaper, and more convenient bus service,” Mr Campbell said.

Mr Campbell said the conversion of the bus stops at Cremorne and Neutral Bay junctions for city-bound services “will assist commuters with faster boarding times and improved reliability of services”.

The bus stops affected are:

  • Spofforth St near Military Rd, Cremorne Junction
  • Military Rd outside the Metropole Shopping Centre, Cremorne Junction; and
  • Military Rd near Wycombe Rd, Neutral Bay Junction.

All bus stops at Wynyard Park (York St, Carrington St and Clarence St) will be converted to prepay only from March 2 as all bus stops in the central business district gradually become cashless. Cremorne Junction commuters can purchase prepaid bus tickets from the newsagent at the Metropole Shopping Centre or the Scoop Food shop on Spofforth St. For Neutral Bay junction passengers, there are seven ticket outlets close by, including the Wycombe Rd Newsagency.

iTunes Vs Bigpond

Don’t have an iPod but want legal safe and cheap MP3’s?, Bigpond music a prepaid gift card provider of music cards last year signed a deal with 4 of the top record labels to offer DRM-free music.

What is DRM? What does DRM free mean?

DRM or Digital rights management is a way to tighten the hold on a digital product so it can only work in certain circumstances, since the iPod has become extrememly popular they are somewhat cornering the market with tunes and mp3’s that can only be played on their system or software.

Bigpond understanding you want freedom has helped remove a lot of these restrictions and is offering some of there MP3’s DRM free, and in many cases also significantly cheaper then the iTunes products. For more information feel free to visit their website below and take advantage of prepaid mp3 cards without the headaches. Really good gift idea.

And they really do offer quite a good all round service of downloads, price, and customer service. However recently some blu-chip ISP’s are heading the Naked direction and with NakedDSL coming into play it creates huge savings for consumers on cutting out line rental and offering a fast broadband service.
One such provider Dodo, have created a brand new set of fresh plans that surpass all the competition in value, starting from $29.95 a month, now I don’t know about you but 2gigs might be alright for my mother who just sends the occasional email but I am a power user who wants BIG download limits. Now this is where Dodo really shine, there more expensive plans give HUGE limits on download providing much better value then the rest.

Adult Prepaid to Internet Dating

Adult Prepaid the future of porn?

Jenna Jameson, Jesse Jane, Kiki Vidis porn stars have been around since video begun and there is no denying that sex sells. Once upon a time pornography was accessed by old seedy men going upstairs into adult bookstores inconspicuously, these days adult video is a mainstream form of entertainment with both female and male customers. Still, although increasing numbers of both sexes are open to watching porn as a recreation and hobby, Where should they go to get access anonymously without been shunned by society for their natural urges? In the US Adult Prepaid content can be purchased on USB sticks in shops and vending machines and Adult Prepaid cards in local stores for quick and easy access to websites and HD-Movies without any personal details, credit card or email.

The Adult Prepaid brand has now hit Australian shores and will be rolling out their new safe way to access content subtly in shops and at online retailers. “People want to access Adult Websites but do not trust giving out their personal details, I mean who would want a statement in the mail for Adultfriendfinder on their credit card bill? Our cards also give access to www.Prepaidpersonals.com where likeminded people can meet up without the high cost of monthly subscriptions or having any of their personal details disclosed unless they want too.” A leading distributor of the cards quoted. Are these cards going to create smut in our Country or will they offer sensible adults a way to do as they please in the privacy of their own home?

The cards will available to purchase in Newsagents and retail outlets soon or available online at a female Adult Shop Femplay.
